R J (DICK) JOHNSON AWARD WINNER - Jennifer Thorne
Congratulations to Jennifer Thorne from our Charters Towers facility, the worthy winner of the 2019 RJ (Dick) Johnston PICT Award. Throughout the year, JOHNEX employees are nominated by their colleagues for demonstrating the core JOHNEX PICT values of Professionalism, Innovation, a Can do attitude and Trustworthiness.
Jennifer is a Process Operator in Charters Towers, QLD, and has been employed by JOHNEX explosives since April 2013. In her time here Jennifer has shown herself to be a reliable and hardworking member of Charters Towers team and she is without doubt a much-valued member. Jennifer received multiple nominations throughout the year from almost all her colleagues at Charters Towers as well as being recognised by others outside of the Plant. Each of Jennifer’s nominations noted her professionalism in everything she takes on and her can-do attitude through her willingness to take on any task put to her and her attention to detail. Above everything, what shone through loud and clear in the comments received, was how trusted and thought-after Jennifer is amongst her colleagues, making her a deserving recipient of the R J (D ICK)JOHNSON – JOHNEX CORE VALUE CHAMPION Trophy.Congratulations Jennifer!
