JOHNEX welcomes another new addition to the growing fleet of EZIPUMP DV repumpable MPUs in the field, supplied by E.M.E.A. The latest unit has been bought by Dynamic Drill & Blast, operating out of the Onslow district, northern WA. The first two demonstration blasts were conducted in hard dolerite ground, in the Onslow Big Rock quarry after classroom training had been conducted in Dynamic Drill & Blast’s Perth office, with glowing report back from the Quarry Manager.

Mark Davis, MD of Dynamic D&B said,

” Dynamic DB are a small and relatively new company, we needed something that would give us the edge over our competitors without pushing our capital expenditure and overheads through the roof . The initial results we experienced with the truck and the EZIPUMP DV product have been higher than our expectations. After analysing the latest results through digability and crusher output we have reduced our powder factors and reduced the explosives kg per hole which in turn has reduced our costs per blast. As a company we are very pleased with the overall results and look forward to working closely with JOHNEX as they develop more efficient explosive products and techniques.”

Dynamic Drill & Blast have their first 80 tonne storage tank set up in Onslow and can be contacted on: Mobile 0407 293 334 mark@dynamicdrillandblast.com.au.
